Beam Layout Welding can be downloaded remotely from any connected PC or network. It includes a one day data logger to record the machine's operations. This option allows for beams of maximum size 84" rather than the standard 72". All elements are modified to accommodate larger web size.
Beam Layout Welding comprises a beam, a horizontal column, an upper platform and a tool carriage mechanism. It also includes seam tracking, wire feeding, wire reel supporter as well as sAW welding power.

Beam Layout Welding allows you to join different web sections with a 100% welded seam. It can also be used to create long webs out of short sections or join sections of different thickness. The two pieces to join are aligned against an edges guide and held in place by air cylinders. The copper backing-up plate with grooves is used to seal the joint. The welding head is positioned along the joint to weld it using a single wire submerged arc.
While they might look very similar at first glance, you will soon realize that they are quite different once you take into account all the details. Beam layout welding tends to be heavier and denser that I beams. This means that beam layout welding is more capable of absorbing and taking in more force.
Beam layout welding does not only require manual welding. In fact, an H beam fabrication or machine can be used to fabricate multiple H beams at once. This machine can be used to feed long uncut plates. Additionally, the machine handles the welding of each plate in order to reach the client's desired design.
A welded beam consists of three individual sections of steel – a web, a top flange and a bottom flange. These segments are merged together with deep fillet welds to create an incredibly robust building material.
